- i've added a room title and exit button, alongside a box for extra text underneath the exit. will probably move this around some more and tweak it as i go, but it's a solid start. i've found a website called Encycolorpedia that will find me colors that actually work with my already decided color scheme. so it's a good tool for the css work. that's basically what i've been doing, css work. from the ribbo zone template i'm able to learn some basic things like positioning of elements on the page and boarders. which is huge.
- i've decided to remove all the old school gaming filters i've applied on all the rooms who aren't original. it's visually too much and way too noisey... maybe there are other ways i could incoporate this pixel style into the house. perhaps pixel art, what other options do i have for that, that aren't photopea? anyways with the addition of an interface it makes the entire page busier, and i want to maintain a minial style.

- need to update the css for the house. i'm aiming for a console or like ms paint interface? with some kind of button navigation although i have no idea what to do with that as it's just what i've copied over from the ribbo zone template. i edited it some but no where near enough to call it a start. even though i'm probably already an hour n some time into that endevor.
- i wanna rewatch both candyman movies with my friend as she's interested in seeing them since i watched it, i know she'll have some intruiging thoughts about it so i'm excited to dicuss with her. while thats going around, i wanna continue working on the review for both movies. it's like a nondualist concept, so i'm both reviewing the movies individually but also together. the post's formating needs to be honed in so it's understandable.
- in this same vein i need to finish the how to pick what to read post, and edit it formatting
- font and font sizes again, after staring at the text for so long and seeing how the lists(ul,ol,li) look i need increase the size...maybe even find another font entirely

- completely switch from a zonelets css template to a ribbo.zone template, and updated my color scheme based on the malachite gemstone. i am enjoying this new layout, i have so much more visual freedom, and ability to explore different layouts.
- alongside this i've had to update the layout of each page as the html needed to be reformated and then i had to make it look good
- added two new pages, Stamps and Folk Gallery. one is a collection of all the stamps i've made (i also had to make the stamps, it took so long bc my laptop is slow). and the other is gonna be a gallery for different works of art made by my friends (reached out to said friends).

- posted two? new blog posts, one a poem i wrote like right before breaking up with my boyfriend, and the other a spiel about how to decide what to read (which is still a work in progress).
- added an up vote button to each of the blog posts, it's kinda hard to know what it is at first glance... but once u click on it i feel like it's pretty obvious. it's gif that grows a plant, it's just simply cute.
- updated the Homepage and the About page, changed the color of the buttons to lime green, experimented with fonts and color schemes... added a marqeue? to the Homepage as well with some scolling stamps. so much of this code and the button code i don't really understand, but i am slowly grasping onto the concept of borders. i also worked on the Page Not Found, added rats and some directions to either the blog or the entrance
- added a few rooms mostly unmapped at the moment, and clickable gifs to the attic (experimented first in the basement before deciding i didn't know where i was going with it). this was suprisingly tedious, i used a great resource called photopea to layer multiple gifs onto my background image which was much less daunting then trying to overlay the gifs in html. i looked into it when i first made my page and was scared away lol.
- i've been spending time working on paper on some dependacy charts for how i want the puzzles to flow, alongside determining what story i want to tell; as i've aleady figured out how i want the story to be told (through rooms, material items, stories, etc.).
- i'm looking to add a link to the house so you can return back to either the entrance, the blog, or a secret third option for maximum confusion as well as maximum navigability.
- i want to keep focusing in on one room at a time, but i a better composite idea for the house overall before i want to get too deep into the rooms... so i think for now i will focus on the attic and it's branches.
- also want to add another button uptop bc the unbalancedness of it is annoying to look at, in this same vein i wanna update the color scheme and fonts... also need to catch up on adding sources before im in too deep

- fixed the script and css files for the website, somehow by adding chattable (i believe) it competely broke the entire blog side of the website. i had to trouble shoot for many days and it was so annoying/odd to watch the site disintegrate in front of my eyes.

- chattable added to homepage, this is an opportunitiy for a chat room specifically for the website! even potentially even subsite specific rooms...
- custom cursor to be a visual aid for where to click, similarly eventually sounds and music for fun duh
- i had no luck with the two different attempts i made to add custom cursors but i will not give up
- update 09-05-25, just found out it's blocked by the paywall lolololol....:0 this makes so much sense, i think i'm doing all the coding wrong (which i was missing something so yeah kinda) but there was also a money barrier i didn't even know existed

- pick which books i want to review first, order them somehow so i can begin planning out spaces in the house for these to live
